The summer holidays are here! They've snuck up on us when we weren't looking. And with the arrival comes the opportunity for some serious family fun! Today we're sharing some fun outdoor things to do with your kids this summer. If the rains allow, it would be fun to have the kids out on the town for a change, so they don't get too much screen time. And you parent, it's time to relax and have some fun too. Because all work and no play makes parenting a hassle.

If you're in Lagos, there's quite the interesting lineup for you. Some of them are listed below.

If you're tucked away on the island and want to keep the kids close, you'll love this one. It's a non-linear learning centre where kids 5 -18 years old have fun exploring the amazing world of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). There are several fun interactive activities for the kids such as: building intruder alarms; 3D modelling and printing; building virtual reality kits; designing master controls for devices and a whole lot more. Good thing is they're also in Abuja.

The place is also pocket-friendly with hourly rates set at N2,100. They also have daily rates, and more long term options, if you're thinking membership. Having fun is great, but it's even better when your kids are learning through play. Learn more about STEMCafe here. Ready to give it a go? Reach them on +234 813 035 3388. If you'd like to give the place a tour, you'll find them on the Top Floor, ENYO Filling Station, Ikate, Lekki, Lagos. You could also check them out on social media @stem_cafe.
