The actress is doing her part to ensure that people have what to eat following the lockdown announcement.

The coronavirus pandemic is taking a toll on the people's livelihood in Nigeria, impacting businesses negatively. To ease the burdens on people, Nigerian actress Toyin Abraham is donating food to Nigerians across the country. The actress has sponsored a giveaway during COVID-19 lockdown.

The AMVCA winner has also educated her fans on social media about the coronavirus; while sending food items and hand sanitizers to the needy. She sent relief materials to people at Ibadan, Ilorin, Abeokuta, and other states.

Some other Nigerian celebrities are also doing what they can to help the common man in this difficult period of coronavirus isolation. These celebrities have sent cash to fans so that they can have money to stock up their homes with foodstuff; so as to survive the national lockdown due to coronavirus.

Music star, Peruzzi is one of the leading acts giving in this period of coronavirus pandemic. The ‘Majesty’ crooner has been giving out N10,000 each to Nigerians in the name of lunch. Many have received alerts and the artist is still sharing.

Another top celebrity giving out cash during this period of social distancing and self-isolation is Nigerian singer Douglas Agu a.k.a Runtown.  The music star has been sharing money through his verified Twitter account @iRuntown. Many of his followers have shared their gratitude as some of them were credited with the sum of N25,000, N20,000, and N15,000.

Social media influencer and artist, Tunde Ednut is also giving out some cash as shared by his Twitter page @tundeednut. Many other individuals also are trying their best to help others this trying time.

The act of giving to the less privileged in this period is worthy of commendation.
