Kenyan Star, Akothee Collapsed On Stage At Luo Festival In Kisumu
It has been reported that Akothee collapsed on stage during the Luo Festival in Kisumu. Just last week, she was placed on bed rest by her doctors because of fatigue.
Singer Akothee reportedly collapsed on stage while performing at the Luo Festival held in Kisumu on the 30th of November 2019. This is coming after the doctors diagnosed her with fatigue the previous week.

Akothee was dancing in front of a crowd together with her dancers when she collapsed. She would have hit the floor had it not been for the timely intervention of some of her dancers. The rest looked on in surprise as the Best Female Artist in East Africa sprawled unconscious on the floor.
Recall that the controversial Kenyan singer was hospitalized sometime last week after returning from Dubai. Also, doctors diagnosed her with fatigue at the time. Following her hospitalization, Akothee took to Instagram to warn bloggers who would overblow her condition. She quickly downplayed her admission, insisting that they shouldn't scare her family and fans. “This life, you can only occupy one bed at a time. Bloggers don’t scare my family and fans, I am not dead! My system just shut down, I will be back,” she wrote.
Other Cases Where The Singer Was Hospitalized For Fatigue
Again, in March 2018, the singer had to cancel her scheduled performance. She was to perform at the One Africa Music Festival held in New York, but couldn't due to fatigue. She was hospitalised and her manager Nelly Oaks had to release a statement. In the statement, she apologised to Akothee fans. "Sorry we couldn't make it past the airport as our vibrant lady got energy burn out," Oaks wrote.
Oaks said that Akothee had difficulties a few days before the trip, but they had hoped to make it until hell broke loose at the airport. She thanked fans for their support, promising to make it up to them.
Akothee is a mother of five who juggles a successful career with being a great mom. However, finding balance and creating time to rest is essential. It enables you to stay healthy enough to do the things you love and take care of your family. Maybe it's time for the Jam Rollam singer to take a break and recover fully.
