Temitope allegedly confessed to killing the baby during interrogation in police custody. Her reason behind killing the baby was that she didn't like her daughter getting married to the baby's father. According to the police, Temitope had wanted to terminate the baby since before she was born. But her pastor had warned against such a thing. So she decided to wait for the baby to be born. “She explained further that she poisoned the baby with a deadly insecticide known as Sniper,” Mr Oyeyemi said.
