Cheating is a painful thing to bear. In Naledi Maleeme’s case, the husband cheated on her in the home they shared. According to her tweets, she attended a wedding with her now ex-husband. He left the wedding before Naledi, who also arrived home earlier, because of the kids with her and she was in no mood to party into the night. The following morning, her ex-husband woke up and called a friend before leaving the house. All the while, his side chick was in the guestroom sleeping. It was when Naledi was clearing the lounge that she found evidence of a woman’s presence in the house.
However, what surprised many Twitter users was the way Naledi handled the situation. Catching a partner cheating can send a person into a meltdown. Even more so when the said husband brought the mistress right into their home. But Naledi remained calm, going ahead to make breakfast for everyone. Furthermore, when the lady finally woke up around 11 a.m, Naledi had to drive her around, because her husband had actually been out looking for her rented car. Later, the car was found with her brother, who was at the wedding too.
In another tweet, Naledi describes it as the strangest experience she’s ever had. She writes that it’s been two years since her ex-husband pushed her to do what’s right for her. Also, she’s hoping that sharing her story will help others find healing and talk about what has shaped them. “Sometimes it takes some darkness to bring our attention to our Light,” she tweeted.
